It was a good week on all counts,
the one that just passed us by.
Flew to Bangkok for a DTAC campaign which I’ll be sharing about soon (together with the places I visited in Bangkok this time round!),
came back and spent quality time with family and friends,
fretted over my poor Macbook which met with an untimely death while I was in Bangkok,
fussed over prep work for our upcoming store which is take ages with the reno works and approval from the mall management.
Not so restful,
but ultimately fulfilling.
This week is going to be another crazy whirlwind and I’m already lemming for a much needed respite.
Will you come quickly, please?
Just running through my mental to-do-list is enough to tire me out.
Anyway, managed to check out this cute new cafe called Bao Makers with the sister after I got back from Bangkok!
I’ve long since hold little or no expectations when it comes to exploring new cafes nowadays.
But every once in a while,
I get pleasantly surprised when I chance upon places that I see myself returning to in the near future.
They have the perfect window seats.
I love cafes with abundance of daylight streaming through.
We ordered the Classic, Salted Egg Shrimp and Chilli Crab.
And if I have to pick one,
the Salted Egg Shrimp would be the clear winner out of the three.
Wasn’t expecting the truffle fries to be good but we ordered it nonetheless because #greedy.
Amd hey, it turned out to be a surprisingly good decision.

My current favourite separates in the wardrobe.
Foresee myself wearing them in different permutations with other staples for a long time to come.
Both items available via backorders only!
Doubt I’ll be getting much rest this weekend with the Citylink shop opening and two photoshoots lined up.
But I guess there’s always the next weekend to look forward to.
